All good things have to come to an end eventually!!! Team GB finished the Olympics with 65 medals in total, 29 golds, 17 silvers and 19 bronze, this outstanding performance put Team GB in 3rd Place on the medal table behind the USA and China. In the Paralympics Team GB gained 120 medals, 34 gold and 43 bronze and silver, unfortunately this still left Team GB third in the medal table, beaten by Russia as they had only 2 more golds.
