Waiting to set sail...




This is a version of a picture I found in Charles Evans' Top tips. I did the sky with a wash of ultramarine and colbalt blue. I completed the picture using watercolour paints and a watercolour pencil for the rigging on the boat.

    Very nice picture, Claire. Nice graded wash. It's very difficult to make boats 'sit down' in a picture, but you've managed it.
